The champion of 14 ATP titles will play for the first time in Manacor and will try to delight the fans who will populate the stands of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar. Fernando Verdasco will not be the only Spanish representative of the Armada since Dani Rincón, the new champion of the US Open Junior 2021, has received an invitation from the organization to play in the tournament. The player trained at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, who won at Flushing Meadows last year at the same time, will seek to continue consolidating himself on the circuit in 2022.
