On June 5, 2005, two days after his 19th birthday, Rafa Nadal completed a milestone in Paris that would lay the foundation for a memorable feat. After winning trophies in Monte Carlo, Barcelona, and Rome, Rafa was facing his first appearance at Roland Garros. With undeniable superiority, he overcame Lars Burgsmuller, Xavier Malisse, Richard Gasquet, Sebastien Grosjean, David Ferrer, and Roger Federer, before defeating Argentinian Mariano Puerta in the grand final. You already know the rest of the story: Fourteen titles at Roland Garros, one of the greatest feats in the history of world sport. Today, Nike wants to pay tribute to this legendary career in the French capital with a tribute T-shirt. The goal is to commemorate Rafa’s beginnings with an iconic image that reflects the DNA that has helped him become one of the greatest tennis players of all time.
