GREETS JOAN SUASI, DIRECTOR OF THE RAFA NADAL OPEN BY MOVISTAR

Dear friends,

Once again this year we are preparing to celebrate the Rafa Nadal Open by Movistar, one of the most important sporting events in Mallorca and a key event for all tennis fans.

We have everything ready to welcome two great protagonists, whom we will pamper equally and who we are looking forward to with great anticipation: the players and the fans. Our goal is to make everyone feel at home and I am convinced that we will achieve this again.

It hasn’t been that long since Carlos Alcaraz played this event in 2019. That summer, tennis fans were able to see him live in Manacor and today millions of people have seen him crowned world number 1 and win 4 Grand Slam titles. That’s why the Challenger Tour circuit has so many attractions. Who’s to say that this year we won’t see the future stars of tomorrow in action in Manacor? We’ve also been fortunate to see legends like Andy Murray or big names in Spanish tennis like Fernando Verdasco or Pablo Andújar play on our courts.

In these few lines I would like to thank MOVISTAR. Their enormous involvement with the academy from the beginning and their renewed affection for this tournament have been exceptional. For the second consecutive year, the tournament matches will be televised through the Movistar Plus sports channels, which will help to give visibility to both the players and the great sponsors we have. A real luxury!

The Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has become one of the most important sports complexes in the world and offers all the amenities possible so that players feel comfortable and conducive to competing, but also so that they can enjoy a wide range of leisure and catering options. Fans have at their disposal gastronomic and entertainment venues ideal for spending a magical week with friends or family. Once again, entry to the tournament will be free and access to the museum will be available for just 10 euros. And don’t miss the activities and events we have prepared for all of you!

Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to the entire team at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, who work very hard to make it possible for us to host numerous events throughout the year, both sporting and of a different nature. Thanks to the effort and affection of everyone, the DNA of this centre has deeply permeated the lives of so many people and companies who trust in our organisational excellence. We hope to continue to do so, improving every day.
