NADAL’S WRONG THINKING ABOUT ROLAND GARROS
“Now, I'm going to be calm. “I am going to compete the rest of my career with more peace of mind”
“Now, I’m going to be calm. “I’m going to compete the rest of my career with more peace of mind.” That was what Rafa Nadal thought on June 5, 2005 after winning his first Roland Garros crown . But time would show him that he was not right as he acknowledges in this video: “It was a completely wrong thought. Every year you are nervous, every year you want to compete well, you want to have a chance to continue winning and, honestly, the peace of mind that I thought winning that Roland Garros would give me was momentary.” In Paris he was never satisfied with that first crown and today he presents a total of 14 at the Rafa Nadal Museum Xperience.
