THE EMOTIONAL VIDEO FROM THE RAFA NADAL ACADEMY ABOUT RAFA’S LEGACY “HIS MARK IS ETERNAL”

Following the announcement of Rafa Nadal's retirement, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has released an emotional video that captures his legacy.

Just hours after Rafa Nadal announced his retirement from professional tennis, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has reacted with an emotional video that captures the survival of a legendary legacy. This legacy is reflected through the personal experience of an academy player who wakes up to the announcement of Rafa’s retirement.

In the images you can see how the news of Rafa’s retirement impacts the young protagonist and how he goes to one of the Rafa Nadal Academy courts to train, as he does every day. On the clay, the young tennis player lowers his head, just before starting the training, and the footprint of Nadal’s shoe appears on the clay. The boy does not hesitate and puts his foot on that footprint, just before starting his training. A way of exemplifying that Nadal’s legacy will last far beyond his retirement and his titles.

“The story continues. Rafael Nadal’s legacy has only just begun. His mark is eternal.” Rafa’s values are perpetuated every day in a high-performance centre that is guided by the example of a legend on and off the court.
